Indicators

All the aspects of a watch that give the user information are referred to as indicators, for example the dial and hands.

Much information ranging from simply hours, minutes and seconds to more complex information may be indicated by the hands.

The dial may provide basic information or the more complex sort and may feature sub-dials too. The functions of the watch determine its number of indicators.
