Jumping Second Hand

A jumping seconds hand jumps in increments as it moves round the dial. Which means it moves round the dial much quicker than a typical seconds hand. It is sometimes also known as “diablotine” or “foudroyante” but these days is mostly cosmetic in mechanical watches.
