The Explorer II was unveiled in 1971, and is a superb follow up release to the original Rolex Explorer. Like its predecessor it is a beautifully engineered watch for explorers and adventurers travelling throughout some of the world’s most challenging environments. The Explorer II received a major makeover in 2011, it’s 40th anniversary, and the watch was increased from 40mm to 42mm to create an even more legible dial.
