The Rolex Yacht Master II is what is known as a regatta chronograph; designed for the vital starting sequence in a yacht race the watch features another world first for Rolex, a countdown sequence that can be programmed via a mechanical memory. Ingeniously, the Ring Command bezel in the Yacht-Master II regatta chronograph operates in line with the calibre 4161 mechanical movement, and the bezel acts as the key to the mechanical countdown.
