The watches in the Astron collection take technology to the next level. Astron watches are unique in that they can automatically adjust to all 39 times zones on Earth. SEIKO incorporated a special, low energy GPS receiver into the timepieces, which will adjust to any time zone with the touch of a button. Another ‘environmental friendly’ feature of the Astron watches is that they are capable of receiving power from any light source that is absorbed through the dial. Seiko Astron is accurate to one second every 100,000 years. All watches in the collection feature a perpetual calendar that needs no adjustment until the year 2100.
