Founded in 1860 by Edouard Heuer, perhaps more than any other Swiss watch brand, TAG Heuer has been closely linked with the glamorous sport of motor racing. Never more so than when Steve McQueen appeared in the movie Le Mans, in which he wore a TAG Heuer Monaco watch which has since gone on to be one of the brand’s most sought after watches. In 1916, TAG Heuer developed a pocket watch accurate to 100th of a second. By 2012 the TAG Heuer mikrotimer is capable of recording time at 1000th of a second. One of the key collections in the TAG Heuer line-up is the Carrera series originally designed by Jack Heuer in 1964. Not surprisingly TAG Heuer enjoys a huge and devoted following across the globe.
